
2021 kicked off with many inherited trails and challenges of the corona pandemic that came along with the year 2020, this challenges has not only slowed down economy and businesses around the world but led also to loss of many lives and careers, yet in the midst of it all, world changers stood their grounds breathing hope to humanity through what they do, while health workers juggled between the loss of lives and saving lives, artists also stayed woke doing their part in rekindling hope in the hearts of people and Sasakay is one of those artist.
The Nigerian reality Tv star, Tsakute Jonah popularly known, as Saskay is a female rapper, painter, actor & model whose passion and aesthetic nature would leave one with jaw dropping expression. The Black Fly Girl as she refers to herself made it to big brother naija season 6 edition where she showcased a tip of the gold she’s made of, recalling her performance while in the house, it would be fair to say she’s a definition of beauty, brains and talent.


Saskay until her eviction was an exceptional breed that needs no attention to be noticed, her courage, simplicity, simile, dark skin and awesome nature is exceptionally a clear definition of an African queen. She was this housemate who kept viewers glued to their screen, got them talking about the amazing content delivery of the 21 year old of her kind.
One of the instance that got people taking about her the more was during the Supa Comando task in big brother’s house where she dropped bars that got her and fellow team members an endorsement as brand ambassadors. Amongst many things, Saskay’s creative mind is beyond prediction, she left the Big Brother’s house with tremendous records- making her undoubtedly one of the most brilliant, intelligent & creative housemate of the #ShineYaEye season.
The saying “let him whom the cap fits, wear it” was again validated on the 9th October 2021 as Pulse Nigeria recognized Saskay with an award as Arts Influencer of the year 2021 along side DonJazzy, Ebuka, Aproko Doctor, Tacha, Nengi and other top influencers and celebrities across Africa during it’s maiden edition of the #InfluencersAwards in lagos, Nigeria.
The Pulse Influencer Awards has been set up to recognize and highlight bright lights in the influencer space in Africa who are building active and engaging communities around their niche or craft.
The Awards kicked off with a round of open nominations from the community, after which the Jury screened list of nominated influencers, 10 nominees were selected based on the criteria for each category. The nominees then proceeded through two rounds of voting before the final winners emerged and we’re announced.
This award is timely and well deserved; as it’s inarguably Black Fly Girl has been putting in much work to her art, stirring hope and passion within her society and beyond.
