Chief Hon. Safrat Dungus

Chief Hon. Safrat Dungus is an embodiment of strength, worth and dexterity. Her life’s experiences, exposure and her expertise have become a sole base of inspiration for the younger generation and person’s seeking to defy odds and make their marks in life.

Born July, mid-70’s in Maiduguri, Borno State. Her roots is from Guyuk, Adamawa State, she speaks Lunguda, Hausa and English languages fluently.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking & Finance from the prestigious University of Abuja.

Her foray in the financial industry has strengthened her competence and made her astute in financial and administrative management systems.

She has expressed her worth in various portfolios and capacities, serving as the Financial Secretary for Women Medium Enterprise in Nigeria (FEDWIM), Committee Member Financial Reporting Platform of SMEs in Nigeria, and Committee Member Financial Literacy (Financial inclusion) Central Bank of Nigeria. She is also the Chief Executive of ERADAF Integrated Services.

In the line of women who should be watched that would offer value of unquantifiable worth in politics and in the service of humanity, Chief Hon. Safrat Dungus (Jaruma Lunguda) is one person to watch. Her life only got started.

It is widely said, “a prophet is rarely honoured in his own town”.  Hon. Safrat’s reality has defied that saying as her selfless heart of service saw her conferred with a chieftaincy title  “Jaruma Lunguda” meaning Warrior of the Lunguda land. This was bestowed on her by HRH Turunwe Dishon Dansanda II Kwandi Nunguraya, the paramount ruler of Lunguda Land of Guyuk Local Government Area where she hails from.

Having distinguished herself, she is one of the honored female selected and appointed by His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Nigeria, as member and Vice Chairperson of the Caretaker Committee to the good and peace loving people of Guyuk Local Government.
