HONOURABLE NEIDO TANYISHI GEOFFREY KOFULTO

Born on the 11th of June, 1978 to Mr/Mrs Tanyishi, Mrs Neido Geoffrey Kofulto obtained her First School leaving Certificate from Numan II Primary School, Numan in 1988.

She then proceeded for her Senior Secondary School at Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) Nabondo, Bauchi State, where she obtained her Senior Secondary Certificate in Education (SSCE) in 1994.

Neido further strived for a Diploma in Mass Communication from the Adamawa State Polytechnic in 2004.

Her quest for Education saw her through Modibbo Adama University of Technology Yola (Now Midibbo Adama University), where she obtained a BSC in Languages and Communications in the year 2019.

Hon. Neido Geoffrey Kofulto is a lovely wife to Mr. Geoffrey Kofulto and a wonderful and caring mother to Dan Geoffrey Kofulto.

She is a Native of Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa State, a Bwatiye by tribe, but her multilingual personality and disposition have her speak English, Hausa, and Bwatiye Languages fluently.

Neido’s natural gifting and love for the media helped her growth in the media industry and fine tuned her efficient flawless delivery as a programs presenter and producer.

She was a one time Assistant Managing Director, TV producer and presenter with Media Options, Yola. And later, a part time producer/presenter at TV Gotel, Yola, a service she rendered with a dint of hard and passionate professional competence, leaving behind a visible imprint in the media landscape.

She also had a short stint at the Adamawa State Board of Internal Revenue, Corporate Communications Department.

Professionally, Hon. Neido Geoffrey Kofulto is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy.

Mrs. Neido Geoffrey Kofulto was a one time Secretary of a Five Man Committee of the National Electoral Committee (PDP) for 3 AD-HOC delegates and Local Government Congress for National delegates, Taraba State in 2017.

She has served as a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention Planning Sub-Committee Entertainment and Welfare.

Hon. Neido Geoffrey Kofulto contested for member, Adamawa State House of Assembly Numan Constituency and Chairmanship of Numan Local Government, although she was not successful but her presence in the political landscape left an indelible mark, she is often refered to as an astute politician and a great humanitarian whose contributions impacted the lives of the people within her domain and beyond.

She also served as Special Assistant to His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State.

Hon. Neido Geoffrey Kofulto was sworn in as Hon. Commissioner, Ministry of Information and Strategy on the 10th of August, 2023.

As the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mrs Kofulto has championed several advocacies such as Gender Based Violence against Women.

Hon. Neido is widely travelled and has visited countries such as the United States of America (USA), the United Kingdom (UK), Israel, Dubai, Chad Republic and Cameroun among others.

She is a lover of Sports, Loves listening to gospel music, and a passionate communicator of great versatility, she is blessed with a solemn voice of condour.
