Popularly known as Fancy, is a philanthropist and a polio survivor since the age of six. Hailing from Bassa, Kamwei tribe, she is the fifth born in a family of nine siblings. Ms. Falluma Vanco attended Gweda/Mallam Primary School for her elementary education and obtained her secondary education at Villanova College Numan. She graduated from the National Open University of Nigeria with a BSc in Mass Communication.

Ms. Fancy Vanco is a journalist and information officer with the Ministry of Information and Strategy, as well as the Ministry of Youth and Sports. She is also a reporter with Adamawa Daily Report. Ms. Fancy was the CEO of Adamawa Passion for Ability and the winner of the Miss Wheelchair Adamawa State pageant in 2010 held in Lagos. She is a humanitarian who advocates for inclusivity, fights for the rights of people with disabilities, and advocates for the participation of women with disabilities in peace-building efforts.

As the first female Northern Vice President of the Wheelchair Basketball Federation, zonal Representative, and chairperson of Adamawa State wheelchair basketball, Ms. Fancy’s passion for para sports led to the establishment of the Adamawa State wheelchair basketball team.

Ms. Fancy is also an entrepreneur, running an online store called FancyFabric, as well as being a hairstylist, makeup artist, and singer. Despite her disability, she consistently proves that there is ability in disability. Known affectionately as Miss Ability, she is always smiling, jovial, and loves to interact with everyone she meetsP
