Hon. Yosi Lerum

Every sustainable venture begins with a vision. In fact, a life of impact is predicated on a vision that sets the path for deliberate actions and focused accomplishments.

The vision of Yosi Isaiah Lerum is simple- a hope and desire for a country where the gap between the “haves” and the “have not” is bridged. She wants a country where there is a fair share of the national resources, in that what belongs to the masses are delivered to them. A country where there is equality and equity, especially in the access of opportunities. It is on this that her life principles and pursuits are founded.

Yosi hails from So’o village in Leko Ward, Jada LGA of Adamawa State. She was born on the 6th of August, 1985 in Jada Local Government to the family of late Rt. Rev. Isaiah Isa lerumgomenso and Mama RauthaKaltumi Jekata.

Yosi Lerum Isaiah holds a bachelor of science degree in Public Administration from Adamawa State University Mubi and is currently running a Master Degree program at the National Open University (NOUN).

She has displayed her professional competence and made valuable contributions to work systems by serving in various capacities of human endeavor. Yosi served as the Senate President, Adamawa State Students Union (ADSU chapter) from 2007-2008, Assistant Secretary General, (SUG, ADSU Mubi) from 2009-2010, and was the Special Assistant to the Governor of Adamawa State in 2010/2011 and was an employee at Diamond Bank PLC (Jalingo branch) from 2013-2015. All these opportunities were pedestals for her leadership and administrative abilities.

In staying committed and true to her vision, Yosi passes for a humanitarian and philanthropist who alleviates the impoverished, helping them to get by life thereby. She believes that the hope for a better Nigeria and future lies in the worth of the younger generation and this is the drive for her mentorship programs targeted at girls.

A woman of many worth, Yosi Lerum Isaiah is also passionate about business and she sees it as an opportunity to create jobs mining the human capacity proficiency of individuals.

Yosi lerum is well travelled where her mind, life’s concept and perspective are broadened and sharpened aright. She has visited Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Israel and Liberia.

 

She is happily married to a loving and supporting husband, Dr Jesimiel Kefas and together they are blessed with three kids; Vanessa (Penensi), Benjamin (Hansunbe) and Derrick (Mamaniga, Ahibe)
