Nnenne Mosugu

Nnenna has 15 years of experience in finance and accounting. Her proficiencies lie in the management of Working Capital, Business Planning, Performance Management, Budgeting, Strategic Planning, Internal Controls, Financial Accounting, Procurement and Supply Chain.

She has held various executive positions in  Higher Education, Health insurance,  E-commerce and Banking, and has worked with a number of start-up companies to build financial processes and systems, develop financial plans and strategies and securing capital funding for business expansion locally and abroad. One of such is Payporte Nigeria, the award winning E-commerce Company of the year in 2016.

She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the founder of GWD Consulting, an accounting firm focused on growing small and medium sized businesses.

In 2018, she founded Grow With Data Youth Foundation (GWDYF), a non-profit organization established with the mission of educating Nigerian youth on financial literacy.  GWDYF was among two African winners of the Sunlight and ACT Foundation Grants for the exemplary work in Youth Empowerment in September 2020. She envisions having financial literate youth that make informed, thoughtful, and beneficial financial decisions not only in Nigeria but across the African continent.

She is also the convener of the Financially Independent Woman (FIW), a quarterly webinar that pulls together thought leaders across the African continent, to build women’s acumen in Business, Career, Financial education etc..

She is a trustee on the board of a number of nonprofit organizations.
